If the faces of the students in the Before &
After School program seemed a little brighter on October 22nd, it was
because of “Lights On After School Day” on October 22nd. Governor Jon
S. Corzine proclaimed the occasion in recognition of the state’s
commitment to innovative after school programming that ensures the
lights s...tay on and the doors stay open for all children after school.
At GCCS, the students celebrated. A large banner displaying the
students’ photos and light bulbs formed the backdrop for this special
occasion. Each student received a special certificate for being part of
the program.Read More
