Paul Watson Ok got the van xk 535 in now having a shake down trip its strange how the bed slats dont extend the full length of the bed seems to be about 2 short checked under its fully extended.The aircon uses some juice will have to make sure hook ups can take seems great van so far for 50% less than uk equivalent

Claire OK everyone - Facebook is being temperamental - I know that I have the page set so that fans can upload pics but it's not working for some reason - any advice welcomed! In the meantime it appears that you can use this status/wall function to attach a photo - there should be the word 'attach' beneath the typing box with a picture of a photo and a video camera. Hopefully this will do in the meantime until I work out what's wrong with the album function!

Jeanie Coleman Greenwood hi we have just got our first geist it took us 7 months to find a caravan we like been away twice love it.whent to greenhill caravan site bakewell ,derbyshire. the site is realy clean and the staff verry helpfull.It is not to far from matlock a lovely village. there are some great sights to visit ie chatsworth hall,matlock,buxton,ashford and bakewell .

Hi Cathy, Claire here. I'm a newbie too, so all advice from Geist veterans welcomed! We managed not to blow anything up on our first two trips, although we set off from the first one with the rooflight open and were serenaded with pipping horns for a couple of miles down the A66 until we finally managed to lip-read messages from passers by!

My tip - BIG GLOVES for emptying the toilet canister :-)

Thanks Penny, really good advice. I'm going to book on a towing course when I get time. At the moment my husband does all the towing but it would be nice to know what to do, just in case I ever need to!

Paula Cook Picking our new Geist Signature up on the 20th June, we can't wait!
Its our first caravan, always been keen campers in a tent before but the British weather has finally got the better of us, anyway we work hard so deserve a bit of luxury and the new caravan is certainly that....and more!

We just had a week at Brean Sands and managed to get all of that lovely weather - I'm hooked!

It's taking a while at our end as we're having to write to everyone via snail mail as only a few have given us email addresses. Geist Direct Well I have taken the plunge and bought a Geist too! An LV550 Caravan which we tested out in Keswick last weekend. First time caravanners despite working with them for years and we loved it. Daughter Chloe had her first birthday party in it and we've booked our next trip already! Claire

Hi Penny - sorry for taking ages on this - facebook challenges! Thanks for updating on the tyre issue, much appreciated!

Penny Re tyres on Geist, we checked ours and had small cracks appearing.
Camper UK gave us the information to contact Matador UK who put us in touch with their UK distributor Tyre Line. We were very impressed with how quickly they were able to get new tyres to ATS for us. Thank you to everyone concerned.
