Yes, this is why we need to narrow the gap of not knowing what goes on behind those closed doors of slaughter houses, factory farms, and veal farms. Baby male cows are not allowed to stay with their mothers because they are of no profit to the dairy farms. So as soon as they are born they are sent away, receive very little nourishment so that those of you who enjoy veal can savor the tender meat of an underfed baby male cow.

Fundraisers for at risk youth is very honorable as long as they do not include any harm committed to an animal. Any animal being forced to perform for a paying audience in a way that is not natural for them is abuse. I wish you luck in your endeavors, Elizabeth, but please ensure that you do no harm to those who cannot speak for themselves on your way. There are plenty of other ways to raise funds without causing abuse to an animal.

I agree Cheryl, there are other humane ways to raise funds for any type of charity cause.
