Geoff Dean for Sheriff Today at Camarillo Rotary we were privileged to hear from Jeff Gorell a Navy vet talk about some of the less known history surrounding the attack on Pearl Harbor. We were reminded of the sacrifices made by the greatest generation to keep us free and safe. We are so lucky to have so many brave men and women putting their safety and their lives on the line to keep us free.
Geoff Dean for Sheriff Yesterday Marlene Dean captured THIRD place in the walker's category in the Santa Barbara Half Marathon!! Her time was better than most runners. Lots of folks there from the Sheriff's Department who did great!

Geoff Dean for Sheriff I spent the morning at Black Mountain Ranch getting ready for the event tomorrow. Proud dad- Scorps won again, Andy had two touchdowns. Proud dad I think moment. He wore a dress to school as his costume this week. 6'3" 230 pounds in a dress!!!!

Geoff Dean for Sheriff On Saturday, December 5th, Oceanview Pavilion, official sponsor, will host the 1st Annual “Battle of the Badges” Guns Vs Hoses Amateur Boxing event benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme. The charity boxing event will feature deputy sheriffs and police officers versus firefighters from Ventura County.
Geoff Dean for Sheriff I got to be the MC for the Rotary District Conference last night with Vicki Arndt from TO. We had a fun night. After that it was watching the Scorpions beat Oxnard improving our record to 5 -1.
