About Me:
This website paid for by Phillies 2008 and is authorized by the candidate

I'm a college professor, 59, teaching Physics and also Game Design at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. I have published SF novels, and books on libertarian politics and game design, visible at http://3mpub.com/phillies . I am a declared candidate pursuing the Libertarian Party nomination for President in 2008. I propose to talk about topics that Americans find important, using explanations that will make sense to most Americans, and to show Americans how the Libertarian solutions will solve their problems. Above all, a successful Presidential candidate must cultivate the impression of being someone that the American people can trust. You can see my campaign web site at phillies2008.org. Note in particular my message "End the Grandchild Tax". Many of you readers are among the grandchildren who will end up paying interest and principal on the debts your parents are racking up this year.

For those of you who are torn between Root and anyone else:

“We should declare victory. We achieved our goal. We built a democracy. Let’s get the heck out and the lesson I think I learned is that nation-building is a failure and I never want to do it again.” -Wayne Allan Root

That's right boys and girls. We achieved victory and built a democracy in Iraq, but nation building is a failure. Make sense of that one.

Now that Ron Paul is "winding down" his campaign, you look like the only Libertarian left! Good luck against Root, if he wins I'll be ditching the LP for this election cycle.

More partial to Root or Hollist, but he'd be better than anything left on the Republicrat Ticket.

The party must EARN the loyalty of its members. Those members are free to look elsewhere for political representation any time they feel that the Libertarian Party isn't serving their interests. Party officials, however, bear a heavier burden. "Party loyalty" is an implicit obligation of service on the Libertarian National Committee. By seeking election to the LNC, a candidate is telling the party "you can trust me to place the party's interests, and its rules for protecting those interests, ahead of my own preferences."

I understand the excitement which the Ron Paul campaign raised, not only among rank and file party members, but among party officials. However, I believe that the LNC acted in violation of its duties by soliciting a Republican presidential candidate to enter our presidential nomination process, and by dedicating the use of party assets to support a Republican presidential campaign.
