Get Organized Now! Keep your notes and ideas in a binder or notebook. Not on thousands of sticky notes attached to your mirrors, fridge and car steering wheel.

I jot down anything and everything no matter how improbable in a small notebook that is there with me almost at all times....

if not then I use my cellphone's notes or tasks application n then jot it down in the notebook when I get it.

A copy of this is made in my Google Calendar or Google Notebook... Read More

That makes me have both a hardcopy and a softcopy of my lists so I can refer to them almost anytime...anywhere

Delegating a to-do list helps when you ask family members what they feel like they can do to help you. And when they can complete the task. Asking for help is sometimes better than telling...especially if there is a reward at the end.

I made a list of all the daily, then weekly and monthly chores and allotted times to them. Everyone can initial what they get done and total the points earning money for them. It's worked most weeks for everyone except dh. The guilt helps when you have 300 minutes and they have 5. I also try to have someone over once a week to stay motivated to not let they house become a sty. Three kids home all the time isn't conducive to a perfect home. :)

Finally trying to clear out my email inbox! Big task, but I know I'll feel better when it isn't quite so cluttered. I save things there too long. Bad habit. I will try to do better in the future. Love the getorganizednow.com website and wkly newsletter. Great tips.

I don't know how this got in here, but since it did - getorganizednow.com is a good site - You can get a weekly newsletter written by a woman from Watertown, WI. There's good info on it re organizing your house, life, etc. Pretty good, sometimes repetitive. I'm trying to use bits 'n pieces from it in my never-ending (never achieved) quest to be organized. She has some things to sell, but you can read the site without buying anything.
