A night of electropop dance terror taking place Saturday, October 24 at The 331 Club in N.E. Minneapolis. Last time Private Number touted it’s hometown pride and paid tribute to the MPLS Sound. This time they’ll pay tribute to that special day comprised of plastic masks, candy and horror. Let Ghost In The Water and Nyteowl terrify and delight you with live sets, then leave you screaming and shaking on the dance floor with ghastly dj sets of dance/pop doom!

Ghost In The Water and Estate love the Minneapolis Sound! In Minneapolis, circa the mid 80's: the synths stabbed, hooks were tight, guitars screamed, drum machines kept the groove locked down and everyone was beautiful. On August 21st, Ghost In The Water and Estate would like to pay tribute to this magical period in... the history of our city with "Private Number", a night to dance, drink, reminisce, and revel in the fabulous Minneapolis Sound. Both bands will be performing live sets, and then, they'll keep the dance party going with individual dj sets. Each dj set will be well dosed with their favorite tracks from that golden age of Minneapolis music: Jam and Lewis, Prince, Sheila E, Vanity, Apollonia,The Time, Alexander O’Neal, Cherrelle, The Jets, and a host of other artists that were influenced and inspired by the Minneapolis Sound. Into this mix, they'll also throw some new dance-pop gems they feel keep the spirit alive and moving forward!

KFAI’s MN Soundtrack Night at the 331 Club will begin in the KFAI studios with an intervi...ew with local Minnesota band(s) from 7:30 – 9:00pm. Later at 10:00, MN Soundtrack will host them for a live performance at the 331 Club.

For all you Digitata fans out there who have been missing the rich, lustrous voice of front-woman Maggie Morrison, Lookbook’s EP I Fear You, My Darkness will quench your thirst. Maggie’s and Lookbook band-mate, Grant Cutler’s musical vision will reel in your ears as well as your heart with deep, layers of beautiful vocals and beats. Also performing, local electro-pop duo Ghost in the Water. Their recent EP release Cardinal Red brings clever (and a bit dancier) remixes of their earlier full-length Tooth. An electronic-steeped night not to be missed!
