Gibson Baptist Assoc. WMU Gibson Baptist Association is having an ASSOCIATION-WIDE WORKDAY AT BIRTH CHOICE on Saturday, December 5, 2009: CALLING ALL volunteers!!! Need to get the new addition to the Birth Choice building in the dry before winter sets in. Your help is needed. Please, promote and announce this workday in your church.
Gibson Baptist Assoc. WMU TWO UPCOMING EVENTS . . . Don't forget to register your girls for the "FIT-4-A ROYAL BANQUET. This event is for girls in 1st - 6th grade. It will be held on Nov. 21st at New Hope-Dyer. The cost is $7.50 per person. Please register by Nov. 6th. All ladies are invited to the BAPTIST WOMEN'S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER ...on Mon., Nov 1st at Whitehall-Trenton at 7pm.
Gibson Baptist Assoc. WMU We're back! The Nebraska team got home at 7pm Sun night. We worked on Omaha reservation in Macy, Nebraska. We built railings for a handicap ramp, painted a basement wall, cleaned the church, walked thru the neighborhood telling people about the church, attended a homecoming parade & handed out flyers, prayer-walked, ha...d a ladies' Bible study, and held a family fall festival. We accomplished alot in a very short time.
Gibson Baptist Assoc. WMU Pray for the team of 11 going to Omaha, Nebraska. Leaving at 7am Wed and returning Sun. We'll be building a handicap ramp, painting, prayer-walking, holding a men's prayer breakfast, a ladies' Bible study, and children's carnival - all in 3 days!
Gibson Baptist Assoc. WMU JAM: An exciting one-day missions event for children in grades 1-6 and their leaders, including members of Girls in Action, Royal Ambassadors, Children in Action and others. The event is sponsored by Tennessee WMU.
