Okay, I've downloaded a copies of the rulebook for guests to the Olympics as well as the rulebook for staff (how they should treat Olympians)... I can see there's going to be a lot of (bad) news to cover, lets all double our cheers for them in Beijing (it'll be so quiet there I'll bet ya they'll hear us)!

I spent some time with some ghosts last week - I dropped in to Global Lethbridge - the visit was some 52 years after I spent my first few months in television - at CJLH-TV Lethbridge. In a way it was a pensive visit - thinking of the great times I had starting in television - right from the old days of television - black and white - kines coming in from T.O. to run as late news... etc etc. The studio as you all know is being converted to the new virtual set.... I had to think of all the young "kids" that will never know what it is like to work in a one-two-or three camera studio - with you guessed it.... black and white Marconis or EMIs --- what an adventure my many years has been. Good Luck Kevin and all at Global.
