使命: Globalhood believes that all people and organizations working in development can be more successful by coordinating efforts, exchanging expertise, sharing outcomes and building connections with each other. By building a diverse community of practitioners, experts, students and volunteers, Globalhood aims to create more effective approaches to addressing both local and global challenges through the following services:

* Organizational Development: Organizational culture, mission, and structure.

* Organizational Systems: Planning and decision making framework, financial operations, knowledge management, staff and client diversity issues, staff training on multidisciplinary and collaborative methodologies, capacity building for sustainable, system-wide solutions.

* Network Building: Consultations with experts in relevant fields, partnership development, communication tools, and liaising with stakeholders, partners, and beneficiary populations.

* Funding: Fiscal sponsorship (501(c)(3) tax-exempt status), fundraising and development (grant proposals, campaigns, events), revenue generation/earned income strategies

* Strategy: Performance targets, new program development and replication strategies; Strategy in identifying and prioritizing influencing factors and relationships. Needs assessment, due diligence, and sector research

* Evaluation: Monitoring and evaluation tools, participant surveys and performance assessment.

* Incubation: Guidance on how to turn vision into reality, germinating our clients’ ideas into functional projects or organizations. Globalhood addresses the barriers to entry that impede many worthwhile projects and organizations. We provide administrative support, fundraising, and project planning and implementation services to start up development projects and organizations. Start-up projects without tax-exempt status will be able to access grants and foundation support through our fiscal sponsorship service.

* Program Implementation & Service Delivery: Globalhood will apply its multidisciplinary approach when implementing projects for clients such as the United Nations, NGOs and companies seeking effective CSR projects. Globalhood can also play a transitional role, until a project is self-sufficient, by providing technical assistance, capacity building, access to tools and toolkits, partners, and best practices to incorporate into projects.

GlobalPotential: A groundbreaking initiative increasing job market opportunities and life skills for disadvantaged youth by providing mentoring and community development project work experience in developing countries.

GlobalVote: An innovative internet-based democratic tool that uses shadow voting and polling systems to inform and comment upon the policy decisions of International Organizations and advocate for fair representation in voting for resolutions that affect people across the globe.

Incubation Projects:

The Sinkunia Integrated Apiculture Program: SIAP aims to enhance living conditions and strengthen rural livelihoods in northern Sierra Leone. By supplementing traditional honey harvesting practices with sustainable apiculture, SIAP can stimulate economic growth within our target communities.

Youth Connecting Communities: Currently under development in partnership with ZoomLab, YoCoCo uses Web 2.0 technology and travel to create both virtual and actual opportunities for creative collaboration, vocational training, and community building, for disadvantaged New York youth and rural youth in developing countries.

MotherNurture: MotherNurture taps into the child-mother bond by encouraging children to come up with and act on innovative ideas to mobilize support for poor mothers. When poor mothers benefit, their families benefit as well. Children learn the joys of giving, volunteering, and becoming leaders.

Consulting Clients:

The International Healthcare Leadership addresses the current systemic barriers encountered in the Chinese healthcare by building expertise in healthcare policy and management.

Developing your Dreams: This project is a new collaboration between Globalhood and Family Justice, providing at-risk East New York youth with opportunities to develop and share their talents in the arts, while learning about creative career opportunities in the arts.
