Please help me buy a good wheel chair for my friend, Kacura in Kigali, Rwanda. His old Quickie GLK got him back in 97 is dead. He needs a good chair to get up and down the unpaved San Francisco steep hills. The front wheels bend under when he tries to use a normal hospital chair. The total cost will be around $2,000. I... will take it to him in January when I return to Rwanda if I can raise the money. Make a donation at GodLovesKids.com Darin Phillips

God Loves Kids dot com We are back from Uganda and Rwanda and had a fantastic trip. The kids are so wonderful to be with. We spent 6 weeks and only got started getting our work done. I had hoped to keep FB, the blog, and web site updated as we went but the work was too much and the internet connection too poor. Photos, videos, and articles coming soon. I hope to return to Rwanda and Uganda in January. Darin Phillips

God Loves Kids dot com Heading out to the Christ the Rock High School again today with the goal of taking good pictures of all teachers and kids. Smiling for photos is not part of the culture so it takes some creativity to get portraits that don't look like mug shots. Making noises, silly voices, and wiggling my back side works on the kids. I have not found a solution for the adults yet.

God Loves Kids dot com We had a wonderful 4 hour visit from Antonio the director of Christ the Rock High School today. Monday morning we head to the Uganda Gospel Rehabilitation Center to meet with the director, David, and see the kids. My kids, Charles and Daisy, are having a great time playing soccer with the kids and playing at each school and orphanage.

God Loves Kids dot com We visited New Eden School today near Kampala, Uganda. The school and orphanage are run my Richard. His brother Moses was sponsored by me and my wife in the early 90's. It was great seeing him leading the kids in singing and dance, his beautiful wife Mercy, and his three children, Hillary, Douglas, and Desire. We will be back tomorrow to spend more time with the staff and children.

God Loves Kids dot com We leave for Uganda and Rwanda in just three days, spending just over 6 weeks there with our kids. We are excited and really looking forward to it!

We accidentally got the hopes of some of our high school aged African kids up when there was a misunderstanding between us, they all thought they were getting sponsors to go to college. The school director, Godfrey, got all the records together, a huge 5 week task, called in favors, only to find out the work was prema...ture. We don't have sponsor yet. Please please pray with us that these kids get sponsors by Sept.Read More

God Loves Kids dot com We have less than 3 weeks until the first wave of Team Marathon leaves for Uganda and Rwanda -Darin, Daisy, and Camp Phillips. We have a few days in Kenya catching up with the Hatleys who helped up start the Uganda Gospel Rehabilitation Center, checking out their child care program. We will be seeing a Play Pump well in action and then on to Uganda to meet photographer Bill Wegener and friend Everett to start work.

Robin Railey Altland I have watched and supported this ministry almost since inception, and have found something unique...they are exactly what they say they are! I encourage all to support then in any way possible.
