Good Samaritan Ministries thanks the unsung heroes who serve families on the phone and in person - week after week, year after year. Three outstanding volunteers were recognized at our luncheon - Rose, Adeline and Rick. They represent the heart and soul of what we do - building relationships one person at a time! Good Samaritan Ministries recognized Christ Memorial Church as a partner in making a difference in our community. Church partners make local mission outreach work! Thanks to GSM leaders, volunteers and supporters from Christ Memorial. This is faith in action in our own backyard!
Good Samaritan Ministries celebrated their anniversary by hearing Virgil Gulker say "it's a God thing." Virgil humbly accepted the Visionary Award and acknowledged that one man alone could not have done what Good Sam has helped so many do over the years. We're grateful early leaders heard God's admonition to 'help the least of these' here in ou...r community - families and individuals who struggle today still connect with people who care!
