Goodbye Melbourne, Hello New York.
There are A LOT of buildings in Manhattan. Makes you think just how small you are compared to the rest of the city, world, universe....

Today I went to the Experience Music Project in a museum building designed by Frank Gehry at the Seattle Center. This place was on the top of my list of places to visit as Seattle gave birth to so many great Grunge bands such Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, Nirvana, Alice in Chains. I really got to re-live my adolescent days.

One day sometime ago, while traveling on the F train in through
Brooklyn, I past by these two stations that really caught my eye. They
are both completely run down and elevated so it over looks Brooklyn. I returned
today with my camera and this is what I saw.

Locals have been telling me about the beautiful Fall (Autumn in Aussie speak) scenery for a while now and I've been raring to experience the hype. Last week was the first time since arriving, I got out of the rat race and took a moment out from the hecticness that consumes you in NYC. I got to bath in sunlight, breathe... the freshest air and roll around in real green grass. Absolutely amazing and so so good for the soul! Here are a few of my fav shots to share with you. You will see some real contrast against my usual shots. Cheers, Nat. http://goodbyemelbournehellonewyork.com/ 2009/11/01/day-258-storm-king/

This was the first time I’ve escaped the none stop hecticness of the city since arriving to enjoy fresh country air and the beautiful fall landscape of New York. It was everything I had hoped for – the scenery was spectacular and the experience was unforgettable.
