started this earlier as we settled the issues of the boycott in
Cincinnati through this and other means, such as the federal monitors
report and this years Toad to Economic Recovery with NCRC. We now
continue the efforts over the next 60 days til...l we meet in Jan at
Freedom ...Center on the March to Music Hall for MLK 2010 [I am a member
of the committee].
Arzell Nelson was one of original organizers of the Martin Luther King's March in Cincinnati while
at the Cincinnati Human Relations Commission. We were one of the first
Cities to establish a Holiday Celebration. Senator William F. Bowen
spearheaded a movement at the State level to make Martin Luther a Holiday in
Ohio.
