Gwendolyn Melton It pleases me to read all these fine reports about Butterfly Hollow. I had opportunity to visit there while searching some family genealogy. The property was originally in my family. I loved seeing what the Rassmussen's have done. Great job!

Terri Tomlinson Graham Truly beautiful retreat. Love the profile picture Sharon. Your place is like a little heaven on earth.

Butterfly Hollow - A Bed and Breakfast Retreat " wake up to a dancing garden with butterflies and humming birds..." What a wonderful way to start the day. Thank you Te-Ann for sharing such a lovely review on Trip Advisor.

Charity Thompson  had a wonderful weekend with Shaun at Butterfly Hollow - A Bed and Breakfast Retreat. I just can't believe how fast it went by. We can't wait to go back for a third trip. :-) Now I need to spend the week getting organized before it's back to work and school already!

Butterfly Hollow - A Bed and Breakfast Retreat Mornings are so magical. A fresh day. A new beginning. As the sun warms the dew from the butterfly wings we watch them slowly float down from trees to have their morning cup of coffee from the Bee Balm flowers. A family of rabbits nibble on some clover while a young buck and his new girl friend play hide and seek. What a gift to be alive today.

Butterfly Hollow - A Bed and Breakfast Retreat We love traveling and exploring and try to make at least one adventure a year to one of our neighboring states. This past week we spent a few days in the mountains of North Georgia near the beautiful hamlet town of Dahlonega. We always try to stay in B&B's that feel similar to ours and everytime come home with new ...ideas, seeds and inspiration. This time we came back with all those as well as two new friends. If your travels ever take you to this area, we would highly recommend Cedar House B&B. The area is rich with things to do. We played in a water fall, hiked 5 miles along the Appalachian Trail, tasted wine and toured vineyards and of course had fresh Georgia peaches dripping from our chins.
An eco-friendly bed & breakfast in the North Georgia mountains & wine country near Dahlonega, Ga.

Sharon and David have created such an amazing and wonderful place! Words can't really describe what a wonderful place you have created!
We arrived tired and stressed. We left calm, serene and married.
I feel that our marriage is more blessed than it would have been, if we had gotten married anywhere else.
...
I have never been anywhere as peaceful and serene as your hollow. We will miss Butterfly Hollow, and both of you every day until we return.
Oh oh oh, I saw a chihuahua yesterday and thought of your story about Wrinkles and the chihuaua. Poooooor Wrinkles. I will never look at another chihuahua and not think of Wrinkles.

Cheyenne Oaks Matt & I were married at Butterfly Hollow 4 years ago today :) How time flies! It seems like yesterday. We hope to make it back down next summer to relax & celebrate our 5 year anniversary.

Butterfly Hollow - A Bed and Breakfast Retreat Thank you for all your wonderful birthday wishes!! It was indeed a great day topped off with a surprise crawfish boil from Sharon. "Nawlins" is great, but sitting here in the hollow with a mound of boiled Louisiana lobsters cooked with fresh red potatoes and corn on the cob right out of the garden.... priceless!

Butterfly Hollow - A Bed and Breakfast Retreat Counting Butterflies. This weekend, we along with our guests, were in wonderment at the number of butterflies sipping the hollow's flowers. There were 100s of Black, tiger, eastern, giant, pipevine and spice bush swallow tails, pearl crescents, cabbage whites, sulfurs, fiery skippers, silver spotted skippers, gulf f...ritillaries, red spotted purples and morning cloaks. We were quite the picture chasing them around the gardens with our cameras and butterfly books trying to get them to stop and smile so we could positively identify them. July in Butterfly Hollow is so magical.

Butterfly Hollow - A Bed and Breakfast Retreat "Our house has a heart, and a soul, and eyes to see us with; and approvals, and solicitudes, and deep sympathies; It is of us and we are in its confidence. We live in its grace and in the peace of its benediction... We cannot enter it unmoved." Mark Twain

Alison Norwood Norrod Tomorrow it will be 3 yrs since my husband and I got married.Thankyou so much for the best day ever. The two of you made our day perfect and I remember every second of it.God has blessed the both of you....Thankyou

Butterfly Hollow - A Bed and Breakfast Retreat We've been watching a family of phoebe birds raise their three babies for the last couple weeks. A few days ago the weakest link got booted out of the nest and we woke to the sound of her chirping for Momma from the ground. Her feathers were growing but not enough to fly yet. Of course we tried feeding her a worm an...d a moth, kept the cats away and just hoped nature would prevail. She made it through a couple nights, a rain storm and today I found her chirping from a limb. The other two amigos left the nest today too, so mama Phoebe can once again rest and finally only have to eat for one.

Butterfly Hollow - A Bed and Breakfast Retreat How is everyone's garden growing? The first day of summer and we are happily knee deep in green beans, cabbage, broccoli, lettuce, potatoes, chard, garlic, beets, mustard greens, cucumbers and herbs. Patiently waiting for those green tomatoes to turn red though.
