GorgeousFabrics.com Tip of the day. When working with stretch fabrics, let your fabric "rest" for at least 8 hours (preferably 24 hours) before cutting into it. Lay it out on a flat surface in a single layer. This allows the lycra fibres to recover fully so you don't get as much stretch-out during wear. The good RTW manufacturers all have sections in their warehouses set aside for this, and it really works!
