It is our pleasure to present to you the first Spain based Halal Tour & Travel Service, Al-Andalus Experience. We are a young company with no external finance and after all the effort invested in the project since 2006 when we started out to materialize the idea, we are happy to have developed a very complete platform of services in Andalusia our beloved homeland.
Al-Andalus Experience is set out to be a bridge for people to come to know Andalusi Traditional culture in it's most diverse forms. We are proud to count with our own logistics network with a centralized booking and logistics office in Granada's capital. Our network is based on close collaboration with local companies and professionals who have a sensibility to Al-Andalus culture. We count with a series of accommodation solutions to fit your needs in the main cities of Andalusia, as well as local travel assistants, professional tour guides, discounted monument passes which include access to all Historical Monuments, museums, public transport, etc. We also provide a printed guide including a Historical introduction to Al-Andalus, and a city to city guide Halal Guide where you will find the most exciting and interesting activities and places to go in each main Andalusian city.
Although we provide a service which being Halal is of much appeal to Muslim travellers, our services are aimed at an intercultural public such as the one which originally inhabited Al-Andalus.
We provide service to any group size (2 to >100) collaborating with Associations, Organizations and Educational Institutions. We can design any route in Andalusia to the measure of your budget and interests, providing all the necessary services for groups to take home a life time experience from Al-Andalus.

Our interest in Al-Andalus has taken us to also promote local artists & craftsmen to organize a series of Workshops in order to open a door to the continuity of these arts, a door through which anyone can access Traditional Andalusi Arts & Crafts such as: Ceramics, Leather Crafts, Islamic Calligraphy, Decorative Arts, Geometry in Nature & Art, Andalusi Garden Design, Traditional Olive Cultivation and Oil Extraction, Tajueed (Quranic recitation) and other Traditional Andalusi and Islamic studies. Our workshops can be weaved into any of our tours or booked as a group along with any other of our services. Please find more information online at:

We hope this section to be of special interest to independent travelers as well as Educational Institutions and organizations, as field trips or excursions which can include any of our other services scheduled into the workshop timetables.
In this same line of the project,we hope in future to develope an 'Andalusi Market' of Traditional Arts & Crafts through which local Artists and Craftsmen will be able to sell to a worldwide public through a multimedia model of an Andalusi Market, drawn by one of our traditional andalusian artists. We will be inaugurating this new section by March 2009 and hope to have a positive response from a worldwide public in order to help the local traditional trades of Andalusia, who are keeping the traditional Andalusi techniques alive.
Finally we are planning to use our site to update on Events in Andalusia, such as an Andalusi Festival which our company is organizing on a Yearly basis in July, Nature Activity Summer camps for children in Andalusia's natural & traditional environments (Alpujarra, Ronda, Guadix), Charity Projects in North Africa and other local projects which we support and help develop through our organization.
