Bearskin Lodge Fall like it ought to be--sunny & gorgeous. Bearskin is very quiet today, but the guests who are at Bearskin now may have one of the best fall weekends of 2009.

Bearskin Lodge Putting away the dock chairs, taking in the pontoon boats, moving the kayaks into storage. We're still fairly busy with guests, but the oddball weather is strongly hinting that we need to start preparing for winter.

Bearskin Lodge It's just beautiful up here this morning (if you like this sort of thing). We had about 21/2 inches of wet snow overnight and it stuck to all the tree branches. The woods across the lake are a white fuzz and the lake itself is just a black sheet. Forecast is for sun to come, along with a warm-up, so this won't last long.
