What a neat place! I am glad it finally warmed up for you. Matt needs to make another trip up there. Had his heart set on a fish fry for the family for his birthday but he only caught one fish on our trip up there. Won't feed too many people. I think they are all fish lovers except Nicole and I.

We have another week before school starts. He was hoping that Uncle Steve would take him back up when they went but that hasn't happened yet :(

Wildwood Resort We have had almost 3 weeks of perfect weather. Daytime temps in the 80s and calm, beautiful evenings. Perfect for sitting around the campfire.

Wildwood Resort Summer finally arrived on August 12th and today is beautiful as well. The sun was hot enough to drive everyone into the lake yesterday despite the cool water. It felt heavenly!

Wildwood Resort I think maybe the weather is just not going to feel like summer this year. But it hasn't kept our guests from enjoying themselves!

Wildwood Resort This video was taken last week when one of the young eagles from next door decided to pay us a visit. Sorry for the poor video quality and the commentary in the background. I'll try to do a better job with my video next time...I'll try to think about how it will play on Facebook!

Wildwood Resort Beautiful weather returned this week but fishing hasn't quite recovered from the front that made last week's weather so bad. Still...clear skies and a full moon made fireworks on Saturday night perfect!

Wildwood Resort This week we have finally gotten weather that feels like summer. The resort is full of kids so everyone is having fun on the beach! There's still plenty of fishing going on, though. We've seen an 8 lb northern and 4lb walleye already this week.
