The White Bucket Project says "Fill me up, Buttercup." It's school season, and many West MI families are struggling to pay for both basic needs and back-to-school supplies too. Give to the White Bucket Project this month—help us help families with their basic needs so they can manage crayons and erasers too. Thanks!

FYI - 3 days ago I created a need on thecommon.org for this very thing. So yes, there currently IS a school supply drive happening, but it's on thecommon.org and there are still no volunteers. I teach at Creston High School and we are one of those under-resourced schools.

Some of the Great Clips (barber shops/salons) were collecting school supplies. Check out WCSG's web site, I have been hearing about it on the radio.

The White Bucket Project loves those "Give A Penny, Take A Penny" things at gas stations and wants to be just like them. Only with dollars and gift cards inside, because obviously buckets are bigger.

my exchange student goes to church at Mars Hill with her boyfriend. i took her to the earlier service so we could go to the zoo later. i was amazed at the generousity of the church. it was my first time going to Mars Hill. i also went the this past Sunday. the stories were touching. im going to start coming to Mars Hill every Sunday even after my exchange student leaves. it was an amazing experience.

May 31st was an awesome and amazing service! Mars Hill is taking on what church should be like! Helping others who need it within our own community, instead of pretending it does not exist! Totally awesome Mars Hill, so glad that I could be a part of such a great outreach!
