That's Callisto near the bottom, but it is not creating the aurora at Jupiter's pole. Instead it is the large moon Ganymede, not in the shot, which has a magnetic field that interacts with Jupiter's own field to manipulate the auroras. Io has a miniature effect as well.

It is almost impossible to capture a speeding bullet with your eye and the impact the bullet creates is even faster and happens within a blink of an eye.
