Rogue Community College Nov. 4th marked the first day to apply for the OSAC scholarship; 400 scholarships will be available by filling out one ap. OSAC gave away about $14 million in scholarships/grants for the 08-09 school year. The deadline is March 1. Students who apply by Feb. 16 will get a priority review and a chance to correct errors. It's set from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the RCC/SOU Higher Education Center, 101 S. Bartlett St., Medford. The fee is $40, which includes lunch. Full-time students can get in for $20.

A series of four classes for beginning gardeners will be provided along with advanced classes for experienced gardeners.
