Island Dragway Thank you everyone for supporting us through a sometimes trying 2009 season. It is very encouraging to see such great attendance when the "experts" say the economy is at its worst. We can only hope that the weather will co-operate more in 2010 for our 50th year. That's right, 50 years! We couldn't have done it without you!
Island Dragway OPEN TODAY FOR THE FINAL DAY OF THE 2009 SEASON! Gates open 10am, racing 11-4pm. Sunny, high 55.. Beautiful day for racing!!

Ron Aldana Just a question for the people who don't trailer their car. During Sundays, is there a tow truck present for people who break down making a run? I am curious because I live more than 50 miles away in Jersey and breaking down at the track has crossed my mind many times.

BlackDemon Productions has been making videos on youtube for a while now. Once he heard of FUELEDmag and what we are doing here he wanted in on the action. He gathered some video clips, came out with us and made this short upcoming video.
Charlie Parinello Tony-Cathy: Thanks for another fun year at the patch. I ran last week and the new surface is great! Can't make it next week, so that was my last for the season. Next year will make the 50th year (off and on) that I have raced at the patch with different cars. Really looking forward to the next season, with hopefully, less rain!

Albert Bambace Hi Any old timers out there remember this car from 1964 to 1966 .It is a 1964 -65 plymouth belvedere "11TH COMMANDMENT driver joe bambace my dad . I have been looking for this car for quite some time now .Check out OLD RACE CAR LOCATOR on DOVER DRAG STRIP .COM (looking for the 11th commandment) . The car changed hands... to JOE BLACK and it was painted and called "THE AMERICAN" , does anybody have any info for me !!!!
