Florida campers had a very "Sweet" day when they got together at Jaxson's ice cream parlor for our first get-together here in Florida, since camp. It was a day which brought our parents, siblings, friends, and families, together to share their fun summer memories. What a great way to share the fun of friendship and m...emories over lunch and goblets of ice cream sundae's!
A great time was had by everyone, and it was very exciting to be with our summer family for a few hours, and remember the easy going days of camp. We had many new families, and possible campers to be, join us, and see how fantastic and warm our families are. This is what makes our camp great. "The people". They are the best, and make any day together so much fun. For the first time, Mickey came in to join us in all the excitement. Which made for a great day all around.

Depending on your age, you may know of this artist from his work in the 1960's. But he's as cool and hip today as he ever was! His name is John Van Hamerveld and his poster "The Endless Summer" is one of the classic American pop images of all time. Lately, his designs can be found on concert posters, surfboards and fas...hion. It is a thrill to announce that John has agreed to design our 80th banner.
