GreenBoxDay

GreenBoxDay Edinburgh is switching to four-weekly collections for garden waste over December, January and February and we are delighted to say that the GreenBoxDay systems have been updated accordingly, and now have the garden collection data uploaded up to the end of 2010. Existing GreenBoxDay users in Edinburgh will automaticall...y be updated about these changes to the schedule. Some of the Tuesday and Friday collections will actual be on different days of the week over the winter so GreenBoxDay.co.uk is the ideal way to ensure you never miss a collection. Garden collections return to the normal fortnightly service in March 2010.

John Irvine

John Irvine Good for Edinburgh. It must be an expensive business collecting from over 100,000 households.

Gillo Officero

Gillo Officero All councils should sign up with greenboxday.co.uk - I can never remember which week is which and, although we get a colour-coded calendar, it's hard to distinguish between the different colours.

Mary Ann Tuckerman I'd like to see recycling bins that would really fit in my kitchen and be easy to use.

Wayne Randall I'd like to see plastic bottles added as a new recycling basket. I try to put them to one side and take them to a collection point, but unlike textiles and other non collected recyclables, they build up very quickly and we don't take them often enough, so sometimes give up and put them in the wheeley bin to get rid of them
