Volunteer and Service-Learning Center TRIPS (Turning Responsibility into Powerful Service) is a student-run program through the VSLC that organizes domestic and international alternative break trips for ECU students. For the 2008-2009 school year, 6 ECU students participated in the planning, recruiting and implementation of 3 domestic spring break trips. ... Altogether, 19 students and 4 staff members went on the trips.

The Volunteer and Service Learning will be hosting Fairytale Boutique during the last weekend in February (Feb 27, Feb 28, and Mar 1) right here in the Center (first floor of the Old Cafeteria Complex).
Young women in Pitt County have been invited to come pick out prom attire and accessories who would not have otherwise... been able to financially afford prom this season.
The collection of dresses, shoes, pursues, gloves, make-up and jewelry come from donations all across Pitt County.

Students living near campus bring gently used items to one of five drop-off sites near campus, and volunteers will sort items to be given to local charities.
