Greg Jackson I found an old .m4a file of this track that I wrote years ago (when I was in my "synth" phase). The original files are long gone, but I managed to convert this back to wav/mp3 and threw together this video with some screen captures from Winamp's Milkdrop plugin.

You may think I am being a bit strange, but I really like this. It could do with going somewhere after the first riff, but hey, it is dance music!

Thanks for the feedback Dave - You are right about the lack of depth, still quite a listenable peice of dance-fluff though.

I've been doing some writing and recording over the last few weeks, but nothing is quite ready yet. Still trying to get a decent sound miking my acoustic, and trying to get my vocal recordings up to scratch. Hopefully I'll have something to the usual "releasable demo" quality soon.

Shortly after my last post in early September 2008, my recording PC died (sad face). Basically the CPU fan failed and ended up having to replace the motherboard...

Yesterday I was very pleased to find an old CD with a handful of recordings I had made way back in 2002. I thought I had lost them forever when my hard-drive crashed (of course I back up everything now). It was really good to listen to them again - like re-discovering old friends.....

One of the trickiest things about the creative process is knowing when you're done. A good idea can be spoiled by taking it too far, or by not developing it to a point where it is accessible by it's audience...
