Built in 1901 and Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, the Guyer is a community theate, a constant work-in-progress, and a testament to hours of faithful volunteers.

Christy Dawn Whipple The library (NCHCPL) is looking for volunteer actors for a big 1920/1930s Murder Mystery dinner theater in November. Any chance some of your actors would want to participate? We are expecting 200+ guests. It should be a lot of fun!

Footloose Auditions will take place August 1 & 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the Guyer.
Those auditioning for “Footloose” should come prepared with scheduling conflicts between August and show dates. Auditions will cover three portions: dialogue, dance, and music. Dialogue will consist of a short, cold read from the script. A sh...ort dance will be taught at auditions. For the singing portion, 16 bars of any song is appropriate (piano accompaniment is recommended/appreciated), or we will have music selections from the show for anybody who is interested in using that instead.
You only need to show up to one audition, but please plan to arrive promptly at 2.
