      Version 2.0 of GymClasses Australia coming soon! Changes to the order of screens, making the App more usable, plus one new major feature - ability to view your favourite timetables offline (once they've been viewed with Internet connection at least once) ! More info and screens coming soon.

        • Erica Berkovich I think a search favourite clubs by time would be good. I have 4 clubs i go to depending on the time i have free - eg scenario: where would I go for a 7.30pm class on a night hubby can mind the kids.

      I'm happy to announce that GymClasses ASIA is almost there to land on the phones of our fitness buddies in Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, India and other countries of the region.

      The initial release will include only Fitness First gym chain and all the basic functionality GymClasses Australia offers today.

      Fernwood Fitness auto-updater was improved to include special hours announcements for each club. Text formatting is a bit off for now, but at least you'll be able to see trading hours over Christmas and NY break period, and similar special notes. More updates to come early next year.

        Google Analytics has been (finally) enabled for GymClasses timetable consumption. Don't ask me why I didn't do it earlier... Anyway, there is a lot more of you guys than even I could imagine. How did that happen?!... Merry Xmas everybody. :)

          I'm aware of the issues with timetable updates for some Fitness First and Fernwood clubs, and working on a fix right now.

          With a large amount of requests to add their timetables to GymClasses recently coming from smaller gyms and fitness clubs, we are considering to group all the 1-branch clubs into one category (button on the home screen), and add a couple of new gyms soon. Stay tuned for more information.

                Version 1.9 is coming soon.

                Platinum Extreme gym will be removed due to some technical difficulties preventing reliable timetable updates in the future. Sculpt Training Centre will take Platinum Extreme's place. These are the only major changes currently planned for this release.

                  Why wait? - I thought, and decided to start public Beta of GymClasses Basic today. GCB new mobile web application, bringing basic functionality of GymClasses to pretty much any phone, not just iPhones.

                  Check out the link, there are some known issues, but the App should be perfectly usable, and hopefully you'll find it useful.

                    Looks like GymClasses 1.8 on iPhone, but it's a different App actually... This is a preview of shortly upcoming Beta of a new GymClasses Basic. It is being developed as a web app, i.e. you can bookmark and run it from your Android, Blackberry, or Windows Mobile phone. Coming to a phone near you... very very soon! :)
