The walk which will be accessible, starts just behind the Tate Modern and finishes at the Tower of London and is approximately 5 miles.
Dress as Santa if you wish or just wear something red! Entry will be £5 and includes a goody bag with your very own santa hat in!
The Santa Thames walk is in aid of the Hosanna House Appeal. and will take in some of the sights of London including : The Tate Modern, Oxo Tower, Millenium Bridge, Big Ben and London Eye.

WHY TAKE PART
Whether you walk with family, friends or a gang from work, the HCPT John White Memorial Walk will be a great day out, raising money to pay for a new mini-bus for HCPT Hosanna House. By taking part, you will make a difference to the lives of adults and children with disabilities so ENTER TODAY.
HOW TO ENTER ...
Contact HQ for a form (we will be adding this to the HCPT website very soon), then send it back to HQ. There is an entry fee of £10 per adult. Accompanied children under 12 are free.
Please make cheques to HCPT – The Pilgrimage Trust.
SPONSORSHIP IS THE KEY!
The purpose of the day is to raise enough money to buy a new mini-bus for Hosanna House. The cost of a new mini-bus is approximately £20,000. Mini-buses are essential at Hosanna House as they give the groups who stay there flexibility and independence.
WHAT YOU GET
All entrants will receive an entry pack in advance which will include sponsor forms and fundraising details. On the day, each entrant will receive a goody bag which will include a t-shirt, a route guide showing check points and other items. (T shirt sizes: ADULT S, M, L, XL, XXL. CHILD: 26”, 28”, 30”, 32”, 34”)
ON THE DAY
Please arrive at the Abbey from 10am in order to register. Last registration will be at 12.30pm. Before starting, you will be asked to give the total amount for which you expect to be sponsored. At the end of the walk, there will be a BBQ and a chance for you to have your own picnic.
ROUTE
The walk will start and finish at Mount St. Bernard’s Abbey and the whole route will be clearly sign posted.
SAFETY
Follow the Highway Code and obey all the laws of the road. Please take special care at road junctions.
AFTER THE EVENT
Sponsor money should be collected as soon as possible and paid in to a NATWEST Bank by 31st October 2008 using the paying in slips provided in your pack. Read More
