On Saturday, October 18, 2008, H.E.A.T. raced in the 3rd annual Wal-Mart Miracle Challenge, benefiting the Roanoke-Lynchburg Children’s Miracle Network. This mini Grand Prix-style racing event took place at the Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, Virginia. H.E.A.T. wants you to help eliminate auto theft in Virginia. During the five-year period 1987 to 1991, motor vehicle theft in Virginia increased 42 percent, reaching an all-time high of 21,284 thefts. This meant an economic loss of nearly $149 million to taxpayers in 1991 alone.
