إنها شخصية عامة ومعروفة ذات مسؤوليات هامة. تشاطر الشيخة موزة رؤية زوجها صاحب السمو لجعل قطر مجتمعا مزدهرا ، متطورا، ودائم الاستقرار. تعمل على تأسيس مراكز مميزة وإتاحة الفرص للشعب القطري، خصوصا في مجال الأسرة، التعليم، العلوم، تطوير المجتمع، الصحة والتراث الثقافي.
باتت المشاريع والنشاطات التي تطلقها صاحبة السمو معروفة وذائعة الصيت في كل أنحاء العالم. واعترافا بالجهود التي تبذلها صاحبة السمو في شتى الميادين فقد منحت ثلاث شهادات دكتوراه فخرية من كل من جامعة فيرجينيا كومنولث وجامعة تكساس أيه اند ام وجامعة كارنيجي ميلون كما تم اختيارها من قبل منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والثقافة والعلوم (اليونيسكو) لمنصب المبعوث الخاص للتعليم الأساسي والعالي. وقد اختيرت سنة 2005 عضوا في المجموعة الرفيعة المستوى لتحالف الحضارات التي قام الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة بتشكيلها بغية التفكر والتوصية بالآليات الكفيلة بمكافحة الإرهاب.

السيرة الذاتية
ولدت سمو الشيخة موزة بنت ناصر المسند في قطر.
سمو الشيخة موزة هي حرم صاحب السمو حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني أمير دولة قطر، وقد رزقا بسبعة أبناء، من بينهم سمو الشيخ تميم الذي عين وليا للعهد.
بعد إتمام دراستها الثانوية، التحقت سموها بجامعة قطر لدراسة علوم الاجتماع وقد تخرجت منها عام 1986.
تقديرا لانجازاتها في مجال التعليم، منحت سمو الشيخة موزة شهادتي دكتوراه فخرية من جامعة فرجينيا كومنولث وجامعة تكساس ايه اند ام.
اتخذت سموها منذ عام 1995 دورا عموميا لدعم رؤية سمو الأمير لتطوير ونماء قطر. بتوافق كامل مع صاحب السمو، تقود سمو الشيخة موزة عددا كبيرا من المبادرات في قطر، خصوصا في مجال العائلة، التعليم، العلوم، تطوير المجتمع، الصحة والتراث الثقافي.

تشغل سمو الشيخة موزة المناصب التالية:
رئيس مجلس إدارة مؤسسة قطر للتربية والعلوم وتنمية المجتمع
ان مؤسسة قطر منظمة غير ربحية تأسست عام 1995 حسب مبادرة شخصية من قبل صاحب السمو أمير دولة قطر. وقد اتخذت سمو الشيخة موزة دورا قياديا في تطويرها حيث تشرف على مشاريع رائدة مثل المدينة التعليمية، واحة العلوم والتكنولوجيا وأكاديمية قطر.
رئيس المجلس الأعلى لشؤون الأسرة
تأسس المجلس الأعلى لشؤون الأسرة وهو منشأة حكومية عام 1998 ، ويهدف إلى تعزيز دور العائلة في المجتمع. ينشط المجلس في معالجة أمور تتعلق بحقوق العائلة والأطفال ويقترح حلولا مناسبا اجتماعيا.
نائب رئيس المجلس الأعلى للتعليم
تأسس المجلس الأعلى للتعليم وهو منشأة حكومية وفق مرسوم أميري عام 2002. يعنى المجلس بالإصلاح التعليمي وهو مسئول عن تخطيط وتصميم سياسات تعليمية قصيرة وطويلة المدى.
الأدوار الدولية
إضافة إلى عملها في قطر فان سمو الشيخة موزة تلعب دورا رئيسيا في دعم المشاريع التنموية على الساحة الدولية.
المبعوث الخاص للتعليم الأساسي والعالي من قبل اليونيسكو
عينت اليونيسكو سمو الشيخة موزة مبعوثا خاصا للتعليم الأساسي والعالي في عام 2003. ويشرك هذا المنصب سموها في مشاريع دولية تهدف إلى تحسين نوعية التعليم والحصول عليه عالميا.
وفي عام 2003 أيضا، أسست سمو الشيخة موزة الصندوق الدولي للتعليم العالي في العراق، وهو مشروع مدته 3 سنوات يدعم إعادة اعمار مؤسسات التعليم المتقدم. وقد منحت قطر مبلغ 15 مليون دولار لهذا الصندوق الذي تديره مؤسسة قطر إلى جانب اليونيسكو.

تلتزم سمو الشيخة موزة بأدوارها المختلفة. إضافة إلى إطلاق الأفكار، تتخذ سموها أيضا دورا في عمليات البحث والتخطيط المفصلة اللازمة لتنفيذ تلك الأفكار. وعندما يتم إطلاق المشاريع، تزور سموها بشكل منتظم المؤسسات وتقوم بدور فعال في تقدم المشاريع. تحافظ سمو الشيخة موزة على حلقة وصل حيوية بين المبادرات، وتؤسس شبكة من الإفراد والأقسام التي تتشارك بالمعرفة وتوفر ردود الفعل.
تمثل سمو الشيخة موزة بلدها على المستوى الدولي حيث تبرز مساهمة قطر بشكل أكبر. وبصفتها مبعوثا خاصا للتعليم الأساسي والعالي من قبل اليونيسكو، تقوم سموها برحلات منتظمة إلى خارج الوطن لتشارك بنشاطات مناسبة, تتضمن أدوراها الدولية الصندوق الدولي للتعليم العالي في العراق الذي تم إنشائه عام 2003 للمساعدة على إعادة اعمار مؤسسات التعليم والذي تديره مؤسسة قطر واليونسكو معا.
Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Missned is the Consort of His Highness the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
A public figure with important responsibilities, Sheikha Mozah shares her husband's vision to make Qatar a prosperous, developed and sustainable society. She works to establish centers of excellence and enable opportunities for the people of Qatar, particularly within the areas of family, education, science, community, health and cultural heritage.
Her Highness's work has been recognized internationally by three honorary doctorates from Virginia Commonwealth University, Texas A&M University and Carnegie Mellon University, as well as by appointment from UNESCO as Special Envoy for Basic and Higher Education. In 2005 she was selected as a member of the United Nations High Level Group of the Alliance of Civilizations, set up by the Secretary General of the UN to develop creative mechanisms for fighting terrorism.
In all aspects of her work, Sheikha Mozah is guided by respect for traditional values, commitment to the highest possible standards, and dedication to the vision for the future.

Her Highness Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser al Missned is chairperson of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, a private non- profit organization founded in 1995 on the personal initiative of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar.
Her Highness has been actively engaged in education and social reforms in Qatar and has played a major role in spearheading various national and international development projects.
In the fall of 2003, the Qatar Foundation officially inaugurated Education City, a prototypical university of the future which brings campuses of international universities on site in Qatar sharing research and community based ventures. Currently, Education City provides innovative educational and research opportunities through leading institutions as Qatar Academy (K-12 school), the Learning Center, the Academic Bridge Program, Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts-Qatar, the Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar, Texas A&M University in Qatar, Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, the RAND-Qatar Policy Institute, Georgetown University in Qatar and the Science and Technology Park.
Her Highness is also president of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, a government institution founded in 1998 with the aim of strengthening the role of family in society. The Council is active in analyzing issues related to family and children's rights and proposing culturally appropriate solutions.
In November 2002, she was appointed vice-chairperson of the Supreme Education Council, a government institution which oversees Qatar's reform efforts in the K-12 education system.
Her Highness' portfolio is becoming increasingly more international. In 2003, UNESCO appointed Her Highness Special Envoy for Basic and Higher Education. In this capacity she is actively promoting various international projects to improve the quality and accessibility of education worldwide. In June 2003, she established the International Fund for Higher Education in Iraq which is dedicated to the reconstruction of institutions of advanced learning in Iraq. In 2005 she was selected as a member of the United Nations High Level Group of the Alliance of Civilizations, set up by the Secretary General of the UN to develop creative mechanisms for fighting terrorism.
Her Highness graduated from the University of Qatar in 1986 with a degree in Sociology and was awarded honorary doctorates from Virginia Commonwealth University and Texas A&M University.
Her Highness Sheikha Mozah has a busy work schedule.
Her Highness fulfils two demanding public roles. As President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs and Vice-President of the Supreme Education Council, Sheikha Mozah is involved in setting national policies and creating reform plans.
Her Highness also oversees pilot projects in the private sector. As Chairperson of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, she follows up on major development projects such as Education City.
Sheikha Mozah is highly committed to all her different roles. She not only acts as the initiator of ideas, but also takes part in the detailed research and planning processes required to implement them. Once projects are launched, Her Highness regularly visits the organizations and plays an active role in the progress of projects. Her Highness maintains the vital link between initiatives, creates a network of individuals and units that share knowledge and provide feedback.
Her Highness represents her country on an international level, where Qatar's contributions are made more prominent. Being UNESCO's Special Envoy for Basic and Higher Education, she regularly travels abroad to take part in relevant events. Her international roles include the International Fund for Iraqi Higher Education, set up in 2003 to help the reconstruction of higher education institutions, and which is jointly managed by UNESCO and Qatar Foundation.
