Julio Iván Hernández This mission is a blessing for the people of Izalco and Sonsonate. What you guys do is amazing. I have helped as an interpreter the last two years and it's nice to see the same people coming back every year like Joe and Barbie. Personally you are and inspiration for me as a medical student to commit to give my best for... the health of these people. We hope you come back again next year.

Due to very severe flash flooding, the mission group needed to be moved from the initial location to the Hilton hotel San Salvador for 2 nights until the rain stopped and we were able to review the previous location. It is now 5:50 am Tuesday, and we aren't having more rain...
We had a great day today. Father Patrick even suited up for surgery!Our Team is working as a very cohesive unit. We are even able to anticipate each others needs. Great teamwork... Tomorrow we start again in another town...
