Lissa Bensur

Lissa Bensur So I am just moving to Woodland Rd in Hampton this November and know no one. Also, I am looking for retail work in my area and I don't know the area. Do you have any suggestions without having to travel too far from the Woodland Rd area?

Hampton Neighborhood Office I’ve often wondered what people think when they hear the phrase, “community involvement.” Does it ever elicit an excitement that cannot be contained? Does it simply pass through one ear and leave the other? Perhaps community involvement is deemed a jargon, a phrase that few really understand and fewer values. But what do you think? What does community involvement mean to you?

It depends! I would like to be involved as long as its positive/ constructive. For many people its an "out of sight, out of mind" activity.

During Fridays in October, don't forget the "pop" in your next lunch. In fact, at "Bach's" Lunch Concert Series at Mill Point Park in downtown Hampton, there's plenty of free "pop" to go around ... and jazz ... and folk.
