Handmade By Hapa Metalgami - Original Silver Origami Jewelry Hey Gabriel, Thanks for the question. Initially the material I use is composed of small silver particles embedded in a clay-like binder. I fold this silver-embedded clay material and fire it in a kiln. The extreme high temperature burns away the binder and only the silver particles remain. Then the silver particles sinter together producing the 99.9% pure silver origami sculpture. Using more traditional metal work techniques, I then finish my silver creations to produce my metalgami. -- Monica (a.k.a. Hapa)

how do you fold the silver? I make origami too but in normal paper xD.
