Ok folks, Augustalia will be playing their first ever Glasgow gig at Cosmopol Clydebank on Saturday the 7th of November.
We are, of course, terribly excited at the prospect... now we just have to make sure some people come to see us! Cos as nice as it is to play to other people's fans, it's much nicer to play to our ...own. Plus, if we bring people along, they might pay us enough for us to buy you a drink - win/win!

But the Clydebank rail station is just near the venue, so it's easy to get to - train to Glasgow Queen St, then a train connection to Clydebank - EASY!
The last train is at 10.30pm, so we've asked to go on well before that to cater to any nice edinburgh folks who come through. Plus, that means if you have the desire to go clubbing in Edinburgh afterwards, you'll be back by midnight!
If anyone decides to come through and is driving (and wouldn't mind bringing some strays) let me know and we begin the car-pooling!

Hannah O'Reilly PRESENTING : my new band - Augustalia! The name comes from the Roman festival/games held in Naples during the reign of Augustus. As well as sporting events, they also held music and poetry competitions! Our debut gig is on Thursday 24th Sept, and we will shortly be trialling a bassist too.
