Di Thompson is hoping Happy Cakes might be able to do Betty Boop theme cup cakes for my daughters 21st next year. She loves BB and cupcakes are one of her favourite things to eat.
Happy Cakes I made these cakes last week for Maureen, who celebrated her 40th birthday with a glittery, glow floral theme! I thought I'd lost these off my computer when it crashed, but luckily I hadn't cleared the cameras memory stick!! I love this cake, so fresh, bright and pretty. Another new favourite....

I made this cake for Kirsty who owns Pompom Rouge here in Townsville.
Kirsty asked if I could make her a quilt cake for her grand opening on
Friday. I have this tendency in saying yes to some cakes without
thinking about the how I'm going to do it bit. I have to say though
fear and the fact that I've said yes to someone is... generally a good motivation for me to
get the job done!! The only boundaries I had was colour and lots of it.
I can see why too, Kirsty's shop is amazing, SO much colour. I'm no
quilter, but after walking through her shop I wanted to take it up!!
Gorgeous. The blanket bit alone of the cake and nothing else took me 5
hrs!! It was a labour of love. Kirsty's reaction when she saw the cake
though, made it worthwhile. That's the bit about making cakes I love!!Read More

Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!!! My happycakes were a huge hit at my party last night and eveything I wanted!!! No one wanted to eat them because they looked too good to eat and they were very pretty!! They cupcakes were very yummy!!! The masks and glitter icing were a big hit and gosh you did a wonderful job. I have at...tached one of the many pics of some of the cupcakes for all you happycakes fans before they went out on a cupcake stand later in the evening, there were 25 in total and 4 different designs as shown in the photo to suit my 30th Masquerade Cocktail Party and pink and silver my main colour theme....
