The November 2008 General Election was a tremendous success for Democrats in Harris County. We elected a new Sheriff, County Attorney, and District Clerk, two new Board of Education trustees, an additional member of the Texas Legislature, and 23 new district court judges, and we carried Harris County for Barack Obama and Joe Biden!
