Berean Baptist Church The Hanging of the Greens is a traditional service that explains the meaning of the Christmas decorations that fill the sanctuary and our homes, such as wreaths, evergreens, poinsettias, and the Christmas Tree. It is a service of readings and psalms, which means that we will hear readings of scriptures and reflections..., and sing an advent hymn. While we do this, volunteers will decorate the sanctuary, so that by the time we finish, Berean will be filled with symbols of the Birth of Christ.
