Hart County Public Library August is National Golf Month! Please check out our display of golfing books on the main floor of the library. Our copy of "Caddyshack" is checked out, but we did put "Happy Gilmore" on display. What other golf movies would *you* recommend?

Hart County Public Library And in other news, the Hart County Library obtained an elderly, but still serviceable, piece of hardware several months ago, and we've just been waiting for an opportunity to have a few modifications made. Well, due to some really fortunate serendipity, the modifications are done, the hardware is working, and we'll be... installing it on the library floor in the next day or two. Stay tuned for further updates.

Hart County Public Library Today's big event at the library -- which, admittedly, should have been posted much sooner -- is our program this morning at 10:00 with illustrator Michael P. White (of "The Library Dragon" distinction). Hope we'll have a good turnout -- Mr. White has a reputation here for doing very fun programs (and some very cool artwork).

Hart County Public Library The director is very pleased to note that, even though he's let the Facebook page languish for far too many days, the Hart County Public Library still has 85 FB fans, many of whom are not even close friends or family members of the director.:-D (And he promises to make more of an effort to keep the page updated -- but..., in his defense, the last few weeks have been... interesting.)
