Harvest International, Inc. I just got back from visiting with Lela. SHE LOOKS GREAT. She has lost a little weight and is looking and feeling really well. She was very much on track with everything we talked about. She has reconciled being a resident at Oakhurst Nursing Home and is looking forward to sharing the “Good News Of Jesus” with all ...the other residents. She is convinced that this is her new assignment from the Lord. Praise His Name. What a great visit.
Harvest International, Inc. Arrived by home on Monday afternoon from a very good and productive trip to Haiti. Got to visit with some old friends who I haven't seen in over 6 years. I was very surprised at some of the improvements I saw. The mountains are very green with lots of trees and growth. They now have traffic lights that work. And t...he best part is that they are being used. More tomorrow.
Harvest International, Inc. I have been here for 4 days and I have been encouraged with some of what I see and extremely discouraged at others. I am encouraged to see how much new growth there is on the mountain sides. Everything is green, lots of trees with new leaves. The Lord has blessed with lots of rain and you can really see the differen...ce. Keep praying for me. I travel all day today. I'll write again when I get a chance. Danny
Harvest International, Inc. PTL. I arrived safelly at noon today. It was good to be back after a 6 year absents. Somethings look a little different. Somethings look much improved. I am encouraged even though I didn't make it to my first appointment. The car that we are using broke down. SOMETHINGS NEVER CHANGE. Keep praying for me. Danny

Harvest International, Inc. She was able to call them by name as she looked at the pictures. It was like she was transferred from Ocala to Odessa for a period of time. It brought her GREAT JOY to see those pictures. Lela is now a permanent resident at Oakhurst Nursing Home. Harvest International, Inc. I took those pictures to Lela and she was so moved. She cried, hugged the pictures, kissed the pictures, cried some more, hugged some more, kissed some more, you get the picture. She was very happy to get them. She kept thanking the Lord for this great gift of being able to see some of those boys.
Harvest International, Inc. Today I was telling her that I was leaving for Haiti in the morning. She looked me right in the eye and said “Can I go with you? I so want to go back and be with children”. Then she said “I know I can’t go, but I sure do miss being around children”. Over the weekend Viktor Migo, Lela’s assistant in Odessa sent me some ...pictures of the boys that are living at House of Hope working in the garden.
Harvest International, Inc. Dear Family and Friends of Lela, It has been almost 2 weeks since I visited with Lela last. I have been out of town and unable to schedule a time to visit with her. Since the last visit Lela has improved tremendously from a physical stand point. I find that she is more alert and “with it” when I visit her. She alwa...ys knows who I am and wants to know the latest going on with Harvest.
Harvest International, Inc. While in Miami yesterday Tom Schmidt and I were able to help load several hundred pair of brand new Nike tennis shoes that will be on their way to Haiti later this year. Thanks to Compassion Alliance the shoes will be delivered to our warehouse in Ocala on Monday.
Harvest International, Inc. I think I'm getting the hang of this FB stuff. Tom Schmidt and I are headed down to Miami to deliver a school bus to be shipped to Haiti.
