Together with the fireworks, there will also be a bonfire, food an...d light entertainment.

Gates open at 4.30pm, with the bonfire being lit at 6.45pm by Lady Salisbury. It is anticipated that the main show will be finished by about 8pm.

Entry charges for people arriving on foot will be charged at £6 per adult and £3 per child, although children under 5 years old will be admitted free of charge. Tickets for people arriving by vehicle are £24 per people carrier and £16 per car.

The event has been organised to raise money for the Mayor’s Charity Appeal. Councillor Kim Langley, Mayor of Welwyn Hatfield said: “This display is brilliant news for the borough.
