About the boys / About the girls

From April through to July, the City of Boroondara Library Service will be hosting a series of four book sharing/discussion sessions for boys aged 10+ and their dads and another series for girls aged 10+ and their mums.

These sessions will give boys and girls a chance to talk about books in the company of guest authors. A different theme is planned for each month and there will be competitions and great book prizes to be won.

The first session for the boys is ‘Boys Own Adventure’ and our guest is Paul Collins, one of Australia’s leading science fiction and fantasy authors

The boys’ series will be held at Hawthorn Library on Wednesdays once a month and the girls’ series at Kew Library on Tuesdays once a month.

Both series will culminate in a very special fifth and final session on Tuesday 19 August entitled ‘About us all’ where all participants
