Friends of Same (pronounced Sah-May) is a not-for-profit group based in the City of Boroondara, (Melbourne, Australia) It is a forum for coordinating support for the people of the Same region, East Timor, in rebuilding their communities.

The “Debt of Honour” photo exhibition tells the little known story of our commandos fighting in the rugged interior of Portugese Timor during World War 2 and the many Timorese who lost their lives supporting us.
Including a display of newsman cameras similar to those used by... the Balibo Five Courtesy Australian Cinematographers Society
Special Event:
Meet cast and crew of the movie Balibo 5-7pm Monday 27 July (Entry by donation)
BALIBO also screens at 7pm Monday July 27 at the Forum, Flinders Street. Tickets available at www.melbournefilmfestival.com.au
