Bringing the Hope that Heals to the Nations of the World

The heart of HCM is to use what God has equipped us with to share His love and hope with the world. He has equipped HCM with the resources to use medical evangelism to reach areas of the world that have been untouched by the Gospel. Through volunteer healthcare professionals and through generous donors, HCM has been able to reach over 100 countries in the last 20 years, using the stethoscope to hear the heartbeat of the hurting and present them with the Hope that Heals.

HCM partners with the local Assemblies of God missionary on the field to set up a 5-day clinic to offer free medical care to those in need in the community. We work in conjunction with the local church to bring awareness to the community that the church is a place that cares about their physical needs as well as their spiritual needs. HCM is field-driven, going at the invitation of our missionaries.

HCM strategically targets basic physical needs by offering optical, dental and medical care in our clinics. Patients with poor eyesight can receive a pair of eyeglasses. Those with dental problems can receive restorative or extraction work. Patients with general medical needs can be treated. We also offer medication when needed.

What makes HCM unique from other medical missions is that we present the Gosepl to every patient after they are treated. We share our faith and give the opportunity for patients to make a decision for Jesus Christ. By extending a hand of compassion to meet the physical need, we are better heard when giving the answer to the spiritual need. (read less)
