Heather Sharfeddin Don't miss Portland's first Literary Death Match. Opium's Todd Zuniga presiding. Judging the line up: Chelsea Cain (NYT Best Selling author), Scott Poole (OPB's poet in residence) and Zia McCabe of The Dandy Warhols.

Whomever has the corner at the stop sign at the bottom of the Maple Street exit, is usually more than willing to accept my offering of Triscuits. I know THAT much. I also know that keeping my vehicle free of loose change by giving and the occasional dollar bill or two ... But I guess I'm talking about panhandlers...maybe there is a distinction between panhandlers and transients?

I'm obviously in "ramblin' mode" tonight.

All good stuff... I keep my karma in tune that way too, Mike. Maybe they're just scamming me, maybe not. If not, I don't want to be the stingy one.
