Heinrich Harrer

Heinrich Harrer A note from the Administrator (David Sisson), obviously not from Herr Harrer.

Princess Coocoola of Sikkim has died at the age of 84. In Harrer's time she was one of few university educated Tibetans. Harrer wrote about her in 'Seven years' and his recent autobiography My life (published in English as 'Beyond seven years ...in Tibet'). Reading between the lines it looks like Harrer had quite a crush on her!
