Seacliff Hockey Club is a family orientated club playing within the SSWHA. We cater for 5 to 10 yr old girls and boys and ladies through to Seniors. We cover from Helensburgh, south to Scarborough and north to Waterfall.

You and your club are invited to play in SUPER SOCIAL HOCKEY !!!
Seacliff Hockey Club are running a super social summer comp and the Helensburgh Tennis and Hockey Centre Helensbugh.
THE COMPETITION IS DESIGNED TO HAVE FUN , KEEP FIT IN THE OFF SEASON, PLAY WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND ENCOURAGE PEOPLE WHO DON’T PLAY HOCKEY TO C...OME AND HAVE A GO !
Juniors will be played on a Monday nights and opens will be played on a Wednesday night.
The comp will commence on Monday October 12 for Juniors and Wednesday October 14 for Opens and will run for 8 weeks, with the finals on Nov 30 for juniors and Dec 2 for Opens. Matches will be played in 30 minute slots between 5pm and 8pm for juniors, and 6pm and 9pm for seniors, depending on the number of teams registered.
There will be a minkeys, Under 9's , Under 11's and Under 13's, as well as an opens division.
The comp will be played on two sand turf pitches, which are about the size of two indoor courts at Helensburgh
Rules are:
6 a side, no GK
2 males per team allowed on the field at any time max, the rest of the team are females
Small circles, and pushes only, no hitting or slapping
Jinking the ball over the stick allowed to beat a player
No short corners, but if you give away a breach in the circle, you are sent to the penalty box for 2 minutes ! Then long corner after the breach for an ice hockey style POWER PLAY !!!
30 minute games, 14 minute halves, 2 min for half time
shin pads and mouthguard are required
The costs to play per person is $30 for players registered with Hockey NSW in 2009. This will get you 8 weeks of SUPER SOCIAL HOCKEY !!!
For new players not registered in 2009 with a club, the cost of playing (which included HNSW registration and insurance) are:
Minkeys and Under 9: $42.50
Players aged 10 to 18: $48.00
Players aged over 18: $65.30
If you don’t have your own team, we will find you one. Individuals are encourage to apply and we will try and put you in a team with players from your area, so you can car pool etc.
