Believe it or not, there are still a few purists out there who never run with an iPod or other music-providing device. When I am training for a big race, I try not to run with music so as to mimic the conditions of race day (I am adamantly opposed to racing with headphones). ...

Hella Sound "I took two Hellasound tracks out for my 6 miler today to test them out. Awesome run! The music was motivating, it was easy to keep a solid pace, provided no distraction *and* I wasn’t bored once (I have a tendency to skip songs on my running playlists.)"

Music lovers will appreciate this one. If you are like me and have an iPod attached to your hip (or arm) at all times when it comes to running, you are probably just as much at a loss as I am when it comes to picking the right music.

Jennifer I bought What Are You Made Of?!? and right off the bat ran the best that I ever had and PR'd a 10k by 3 min. Intrigued, I got As You Wish and couldn't have been more pleased with my consistent pace. Hooked, I got How To Turn Around A Bad Day and now I won't run without my new secret weapon army of music!

Our third song is born! "As You Wish" {http://www.hellasound.com/music/song/as- you-wish/} started off as sort of an 80's "alternative" (Smiths, Cure) pop song, and evolved into a 30 minute musical rungasm.

Hella Sound And another PR: "Did the Nike+ 10k this am. Kept an even pace thanks to @hellasound 's music! PR, and it's been 7 yrs since my last 10k."

Hella Sound Another PR! "@HellaSound listened to your music last night during the #humanrace, was that you giving the pep talk? it totally worked, I PRd by 3 min!"

Hella Sound A runner PRs at San Jose Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon: "Sub-2!! Carried by four @hellasound songs, too :) MVP of the race was your music! Thank you!"

Laura Shum Wow, just got back from my first run with "How to Turn Around a Bad Day" and it was the best and fastest run I've ever had. Now, I'm not a good or fast runner so that's not saying a whole lot, but I defnintely don't hate running anymore :) I'm going to download the other song right away and I can't wait til there's som......e more new songs!

Bill Sodeman:
I loved the first Hella Sound track, "How to Turn Around a Bad Day". It helped propel me to a much better time than I expected in my last 15 km race.
There are all sorts of tricks and beats in both of these songs to help keep you on pace.
The new track, "What Are You Made Of", is even better! I love the military cadence...... section. I have placed several copies of both songs in my running playlist so I don't have to hit rewind!

Hella Sound "...You hardly notice that you are still running your ass off as you enjoy the music. I didn’t think I would want just one song for 30 minutes like I did this. Go there now. Download. Get your cadence... and enjoy!"

If you haven’t used this website yet, I say get thee now to Hella Sound, and check out the one song you need to shake up your run. It’s one song…set to your cadence…The song is ...

Jay Boncodin: The 170BPM special kept me at the 7:22-7:32 pace for 30 minutes on my warm and breezy 11.5 mile run (OA AP 7:38). The steady, captivating rhythm kept my feet low to the ground enabling me to stride at a faster cadence with less energy! I listen to all genres of music and truly dig the many eclectic sounds and rhythms n......icely composed into this one 30 minute package! Thanks man!

Megan Storms I just purchased from Hella Sound and it was great! The pace was perfect and it kept me locked in to where I wanted to be! Thanks so much, going to try it out again today on my run.

O.K., not literally. The 30-year-old Olympic long distance runner-turned-marathoner has a new 40-minute music mix for endurance training, and it’s hard. It contains four 4-minute “run so hard you can’t talk” intervals offset by four 4-minute recovery sessions plus a warm-up and cool down. ...
