Christine Pechera I am joyously and lusciously alive today because of one person who lived on the other side of the world. My doctors literally had to "go to China" to find the singular and only donor who had just the right genetic mix to save my life. There was abosultely no one else. Thank goodness Kent said "yes." He is a TRUE HERO. ...I spent a year in the hospital, but am alive today because his blood runs though my veins. That was 3 years ago.

Beverley De-Gale 24 year old Jermaine Louis was diagnosed with leukaemia in November 2008. We started to work with his family to to find him a match. However, a match was found on the UK registry. All our efforts are starting to pay off. On Friday 11th December he received a bone marrow transplant. Good Luck Jermaine xx
Soumo Like most of you who visit this page, I know someone who needed a transplant. My friend got his and is doing well. Recently I heard him speak, and I learned something new. For a while I thought that it was all about getting more registrants, but he brought to light that it is just as much about hope. Broadcast hope, preach it, keep it, share it.
Stacie My cousin Tami received a stem cell transplant this past June. She is recovering well and I am so thankful for the National marrow Donor Program here in the United States. He received over 40 blood transfusions before he died. That was an extra year for him to be with his family and friends.
